Ceasar's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Ceasar's Story...
Meet Ceasar! He's a 1.5 year old purebred Cane Corso. Ceasar was found tied to flagpole outside Friendship one morning. It turns out his owner was very ill and there was no one to care for him. It took Ceasar awhile to warm up to the staff and volunteers but he turned out to be a very nice boy. He lived with 2 small dogs that bullied him. He has not been with cats. There was a teenage son in the home and he had friend over all the time and Ceasar was fine with all his company, according to the family. His owner said he is house trained. This big fellow is pretty good on a leash too. If you like big dogs, come and take a look at Big Ceasar.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ceasar, a Elyria Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
