Velma's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Velma's Story...
Velma was pulled from animal control nearly a month ago. Since then she has been living in her foster home, where we have had the chance to spoil her and get to know this beautiful girl. She is definitely smart. She knows sit, down, shake, and we are working on the wait command. She is a mildly active girl who loves to curl up on a soft bed. She does well with children and most other dogs, and cats. Her adoption fee is $80, for a chance to meet her, please send us a message.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Velma, a Clarksville American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
