My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/16/16 - Update from Saraphena's foster mom
She is the friendliest and sweetest dog that I have seen in quite some time. She loves to cuddle and follows me everywhere I go. When I would take her to the vet she would walk in there with her head held high and wagging her entire body and trying to greet anyone that would allow her too. I have 5 personal dogs and she gets along well with them all. I do have a outside cat and I brought him in tonight. He doesn't care to be inside but I put Saraphena on a leash and let her go up to him slowly. She was wagging her body and smelling of him. After a few minutes I took her off the leash and all she did was smell him and walk away and then go back and look at him, whine a little, smell him and walk away. Her injury to her leg is improving daily. I have not seen her limp on it too much and she is running on it. As you can see in some of the pictures nothing slows her down.

10/9/16 - Saraphena has a story to tell you. Dear Looking for a Dog People: I was hit by a car but I didn't break any bones. Sometimes I limp because I am still a little sore, it was only a month ago. The accident hasn't stopped me from playing with my 5 foster buddies. I love them and people, and kids, and nothing bothers me. I am kind of laid back and I like my foster mom so much I follow her everywhere. When she sits I cuddle with her until one of the dogs has a toy or a game of catch that looks fun.
My doctor guy said I am still mending and only time will tell if my limp goes away. If you have every broken a leg or arm you know the healing does take some time. I am a medium dog at 40 pounds and I am very young at a year and a half. Please give me a chance to show you what I am made of. Love, Saraphena
