"Why hasn't my Forever Family found me yet?" you may wonder.
Well, I'm not really sure. Many people say they're looking for a young dog with lots of energy, but then find that they don't really have the time to devote to training a young pup. A mature dude like myself is happy with a short walk, a good meal and a nice nap. I know to do my business outside and I'm not likely to counter-surf.
The other thing I need to tell you is this:
I don't say "I Love You" on our first date. Or our second. I like to be courted. I like to get to know you, and for you to get to know me. Giving me treats and taking me on a leisurely walk is perfect for our first couple of dates. On our 3rd date, I'll let you go to First Base (scratches behind the ears + some shoulder rubs). By our 4th date, I'm all yours! You can expect full-on, face-licking, hand-nudging, full-body-leaning L.O.V.E. But now-a-days, these young whippersnappers are all about "instant" everything. I'm just not an "Insta-Gram, Snap-Chat, Instant-Love" kinda dog. If you're Old-School like me, don't mind taking things slowly, and appreciate the years of experience I have in the fine art of friendship, then please contact my peeps at email@example.com to set up our first date. I can't wait to hear from you.
