Angus's Story...
Angus was found in a box outside of a pet store.
I can't imagine why someone would have given him up, led a lone in that manner, he's cute, sweet, curious but a little cautious, he likes to be held while cuddled in a fleece or towel, or hanging out on a lap until he gets fidgety.
He plays, explores, eats and passes out.
He is still learning about life, noises, and foods.
I haven't tried him in the same cage with either of my two males but he makes a neighbor, watching,
learning and chatting with my guinea pigs from his own cage.
He is looking for someone that will to give him a forever home (he had a little bit of a rough start) someone that will give him some attention daily
and another guinea pig as a neighbor would be a plus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Hazel Park Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Hazel Park, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Hazel Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazel Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazel Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazel Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
