  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
We used to call this sweet young Feist mix Broken Bear. He came to PCHS from the animal shelter with two broken legs which had been allowed to languish for days on end without care. PCHS feared he might lose one of the legs. B. Bear spent weeks in cage rest being angelic. No accidents; no complaining; the perfect patient. He's healed now and except for a small hitch in his back leg one would never realize the seriousness of his injury. He's now ready for adoption with a loving family, one not too rough. He's very sweet and loving plays well with the other puppies and small dogs and doesn't bother cats.

About Pulaski County Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

The Pulaski County Humane Society is a growing number of volunteers who feel that animals are an important part of lives here in Pulaski County. Our animals reside primarily in foster homes, so we are limited in the number of animals we can rescue. We always need more volunteers to help us save more pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have monthly Adoptathons on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Somerset Mall in Somerset, Kentucky. We also have a monthly adopt-a-thon on the first Saturday of each month at PetSense in Somerset. You can also make appointments to meet the animals by calling 606-451-2367.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process consists of the adopters meeting the animals, filling out a bit of paper work, paying the adoption fee, and agreeing to a post-placement home visit. The adoption fees are: $95 for dogs/puppies older than 6 months and $125 for puppies under 6 months old.
