I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Klink is a short and stocky 5 year old boy, about 13 pounds and 14 inches tall and is all natural, as he was born, with natural ears and tail. He can be an independent fella, but he does love his cuddle time and affection. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and on prevention. Klink would benefit from some obedience classes, but I feel that way about most dogs. I really believe it helps with the bonding of the human canine relationship, and adds fun and manners to having a dog companion. Klink is shy at first around strangers, and would be too energetic to be loose with toddlers. Klink tends to get excited and he will jump up on people. I would guess when he was little someone let him do this puppy behavior thinking it was cute. Now as an adult, it isn't. He is learning though, and is very much improved! Klink is crate trained and fairly well house-trained. We never say our dogs are 100 % trained as accidents do happen, especially when transitioning to a new home and learning the new routine. His adoption fee is $225.00 We feel he would do best in a home with a fenced yard, and no small children. though older kids would be fine. We require all our dogs to be kept on heart worm prevention and vaccinated in accordance with your veterinarian's protocol.
Our Mission is simple. To rescue Miniature Pinschers who are unwanted, abandoned, neglected, mistreated or are victims of inhumane treatment and then find responsible, loving and lifetime homes. To educate potential owners about the Miniature Pinscher and their special requirements, to ensure an educated decision when selecting the breed. To counsel owners on solving problems to help them keep their Miniature Pinscher. To educate animal control officers and shelter staff on how to identify the Miniature Pinscher and the special requirements and characteristics of the breed to aid in proper evaluation and placement.
Our Dogs are evaluated by a veterinarian for common health issues, are given required medical care, spayed or neutered and microchipped. We screen every applicant very carefully to ensure that they understand the responsibilities involved in caring properly for a pet. Our responsibility is to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience, loving hearts, and an understanding of a min pin's needs. A detailed application from which we conduct reference verifications and a home visit with all household members present are pre-adoption requirements. A follow up visit may be scheduled at a future date to ensure that everything is working out well for the dog as well as the family. During this process, our pets are safely and lovingly cared for in private, approved foster homes in which we observe and evaluate each minpin for temperament and behavior, continue with the pet's socialization and training, and provide for their physical well being and health.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our dogs are all in foster homes at varied locations, but please contact us via email at email@example.com and we will be happy to discuss any dog you are interested in learning more about. We are also at Tractor Supply Co on periodic weekends to introduce our dogs to potential adopters.
Our Adoption Process...
Adopting a Friend is the most important commitment humans can do for themselves as well as for the pet. It is a huge decision and one that should never be taken lightly. Understand that the dog you get from us has already lost it's home and therefore our goal is to make this placement final and forever. Pet adoption is a lifetime commitment that we take very seriously. If you are interested in adopting, we ask that you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you with our adoption information.
