Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Cleo! I'm 4-6 years old but I don't look my age.
I was severely underweight and sick when I arrived in foster care but thanks to my foster parents and The Devoted Barn, I am 50 pounds now.
I love to be around my people! I would be a good dog for a less active family, I like my walks but am not the type to play ball with you. My previous family must have taught me not to jump on the couch or bed, and I'm not much of a lap dog, they're not my thing. However, I will keep your feet warm on cold winter nights and always enjoy a good belly rub! I'm fairly good on a leash- I'm not an expert still getting the hang of it. I don't pull a lot... and I LOVE car rides, I can be your co pilot! New adventures don't scare me.
I'm good with kids and other dogs with a proper introduction but I haven't met something called a cat, yet. Since I was so sick when I arrived, there are some chronic medical concerns my new family should be aware of. I am heartworm positive and in the process of completing long term treatment. For this reason, I need to keep things low key and would not make a good running partner. My foster mom says I might have something called an auto-immune disorder and I take medication for it. However, I take my pills like a champ and am a happy girl. I would like nothing better than to keep you company and be your faithful, loving companion (did I mention I like treats...??)
By adopting me, you can save two lives. Mine, and the next dog my foster parents will be able to take!
