Twist's Story...
Twist is a pretty black and tan female German Shepherd who is about 2 years old and is about 68 pounds. She is house broken, has excellent house manners and gets along with a variety of dogs well although she likes to hang out more than play rough and tumble or chase. She seems to be trainable with cats. Twist loves to play with squeaky toys and will even entertain herself. She is very affectionate with people although most used to living in an adult home. Twist is a loving, affectionate girl & her favorite thing is spending time with her family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twist, a Walnut Creek German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
