When you look into Tasha's beautiful greenish/yellow eyes, you will see a sweet gal who is yearning for someone to commit forever to her. Our beautiful mixed gal is about 9 months old as of October 2016 and she dreams of a stable and loving home to settle her paws. Tasha was living in bad circumstances when one of our Villagers reached out and rescued her. Tasha has been amazing in her foster home and we know she will be dedicated to the lucky person who gets their adoption application approved at ITVRescue.org. Our 47-pound beauty does well in her foster home when left alone. She keeps her potty business outside when kept on a schedule and LOVES her toys! Tasha is still in her puppy phase, so of course she has a lot of energy and loves to play. She is social too! Tasha loves her furry canine siblings, but is very curious about the house cat. She is amazing with kids, loves to cuddle and be close to her person, so our cutie will make a very good and loyal family companion. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Tasha may not have had the best of luck before her rescue, but we know she has a bright and happy future ahead of her. Lets show Tasha that people are good, give her a lifetime of love and start her happily ever after now. Please submit that adoption application now so you can start showing Tasha how wonderful life truly is!
It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are generally at Petsmart on Burkhart every Sunday and have adoption events at various locations throughout the year.
Our Adoption Process...
We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $150 to $175. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.
