My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willis was surrendered to our rescue because his family's landlord demanded they reduce the number of dogs to one. ( a service dog) He will be 1 year old on 11/6/16 .He weighs 12 lbs. . He is good with other dogs and kids. ( kids over 8 only, please) He loves to cuddle in your lap and he sleeps at your feet quietly all night. Willis came from a home with a fenced yard and is in foster care in a home with one, so a fenced yard will be required for adoption. His coat is coarse and straight and he doesn't shed. He loves to play with other dogs his size so a doggie bud would be preferable. He has not been cat tested but with a good introduction, he should be fine. Willis' previous home was with a stay at home mom. His foster mom is retired, so we feel it would be best if his new home would not leave him alone for long periods of time. He is very clingy and just loves to snuggle. Willis uses a doggie door in his foster home. He learned it by watching the other dogs in the home use it. He is very smart and listens very well. He would be extremely trainable!

He is neutered, UTD on shots and is HW negative. Willis is on HW /flea preventative and is microchipped.

Willis is in EAST TENNESSEE and will be transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport which charges $140 for their services. You pay that when the dog is claimed
at one of their stops in PA, NJ, CT, ME or VT. An adoption fee also applies to cover his vetting. All vet records are handed off with the dog .
