Rosie's Story...
Hello everyone!! My name is Rosie!

I am around 2 years old and very playful!!! I love meeting new people and they fall in love with me right away! I love my adult and kid humans taking care of me!! To my human's knowledge, I haven't been around cats, so I don't know if I would behave around them. I live with two young children and do great with them! I play well with both female and male dogs!! I just love to play. I love playing with my rope and chasing the ball. I know some tricks and my human is working with me on not jumping up on people (I usually do it ever so gently). I just can't help it though because I get so excited to see anyone who wants to visit!!! If you are looking for a dog with a LOT of personality, I am your girl!!! Pick me!! Pick me!!!

Our adoption fee is a $200.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.pupsquad.org/adopt to read more about our policies and find our application. Applications should be submitted to adoption@pupsquad.org or via the online form.

We are happy to transport our dogs out-of-state as we have lots of experience doing this and love to see our dogs to the best homes possible! We will assist with the whole process to getting your new pet to you. Feel free to email us regarding availability or any other questions. Please remember all breed estimates are just that...estimations based on our experience. NOTE: We will only do transport if the dogs are 4 months of age or older as this means they are fully vetted and spay/neutered at this age.

Thank you for choosing to rescue an animal in need!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
