My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI! My name is Ginger, and I’m a medium sized, brown and white sweet pitty mix. I was a stray and spotted my foster mom out walking her doggie, so I went up and gave them both tons of kisses! I was so cute she couldn’t resist helping me. I have had all my shots, am heartworm negative, and now I’m fixed too. I love to put my head in my foster’s lap, look into her eyes, get hugs and give kisses. I’m pretty good at potty training, too, but not quite perfect yet. I’m a smart girl, too! I like to fetch my toy and I can even pick up a plastic bowl without spilling my food! I’m only a puppy myself, a little over a year old, so I still love to chew things. I have lots of energy and need to go for walks every day -- I would make a great running buddy! Not to brag, but humans always comment how beautiful I am when I go out for walks! I would love to find a forever home (preferable as the only doggie, because I prefer all the attention and toys for myself, but I do get along pretty well with my foster doggy sis). Won’t you please be my forever parent so I can show you all the love I have to give?

Our adoption fee is a $200.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.pupsquad.org/adopt to read more about our policies and find our application. Applications should be submitted to adoption@pupsquad.org or via the online form.

We are happy to transport our dogs out-of-state as we have lots of experience doing this and love to see our dogs to the best homes possible! We will assist with the whole process to getting your new pet to you. Feel free to email us regarding availability or any other questions. Please remember all breed estimates are just that...estimations based on our experience. NOTE: We will only do transport if the dogs are 4 months of age or older as this means they are fully vetted and spay/neutered at this age.

Thank you for choosing to rescue an animal in need!
