Kit's Story...
Meet Kit! She is a six month old sweetie. Her eyes are a beautiful deep gold and she is very fast and very smart. She's a little more shy than her brother, Butter (who is also available for adoption), but once she knows you, she is much more social. She loves to be around people. She and her brother love to play with feathery toys and chase laser pointers. They've also been seen hunting flies. Their favorite treats are pumpkin puree, plain yogurt, and Temptations. Both were rescued from the streets at a young age and looking for a wonderful family to be a part of.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kit, a San Dimas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Dimas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Dimas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Dimas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Dimas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Dimas paves the way for another one to be saved.
