Hi, let me introduce myself. I'm Madmartigan, and I was named after the disgraced knight in the 1988 fantasy film "Willow." (He was far too restless, reckless and truant as a child but grew up to be a victor despite the hard times that he endured.)
I had my own hardscrabble times in that I was a stray kitten playing outside an apartment complex. Like my usual friendly self, I ran right up to my soon-to-be foster mom to rub against her leg and play. She tried to find where I belonged but to no avail. So she gave me a safe haven and determined to find me a lifetime home.
I am a very fun, sweet, and entertaining little guy who was born about December 2015. I'm a very dapper and handsome buff tabby with white DSH mix. I guess you already know what outgoing and engaging personalities marmalade tabbies are known for, and I am no exception.
I'm the perfect balance of fun and loveable. I have tons of energy and am very curious. I live to play and wrestle and will turn anything into a toy or game. You can't help but enjoy watching me play. With me around, who needs a TV?
Yet I have an ever-so-sweet side. I am very affectionate and sociable with people and just love attention. When I'm worn out from my kitten playtime antics, I turn into mush, demand love, and give kisses. There's nothing I love more than to snuggle in a warm lap and turn on my purr motor in blissful contentment.
Just one warning. I can play aggressively, especially with other cats. My foster mom doesn't known whether or not I get along with dogs, but she feels that I should be in a single-cat home with no small children. Otherwise I'm a real charmer!
