Remy is a 2 year old sweetheart!! He truly stole all of our hearts when we found him in the shelter in San Antonio TX the day before he was scheduled to be put down. He was a stray that had been attacked by other dogs.....and the look on his face - he had given up :(
We pulled him to safety and nourished him back to health - he weighed only 29 lbs. and his hip bones stuck out. His bite wounds were still infected and he had been shaved.....but we saw the beauty in him and made a promise to bring the light back into his eyes. Well - we did all that we promised. Now we have to keep the rest of our promise and find this healthy, happy boy his forever home.
Neutered, HW negative, all vaccinations up to date, coat grown back in - he's a force to be reckoned with! Remy has a gusto for life and LOVES to play with other dogs!! He's sure of himself, confident and very intelligent. He looks like he weighs around 50 lbs. right??? WRONG!! Remy is only 36 lbs. and he may gain a couple more....but he looks good now we think :)
It makes us sad to think that someone didn't want this sweet boy...but honestly....their loss will be someone else's gain. Remy will need an active home - we mean LOTS of exercise and interaction....this ain't no couch potato puppy here!!
