Ella's Story...
Hi, I'm Ella and one happy darling! I'm just over a year old, playful, submissive and do wonderful with 7 fur friends and 7 human kid friends at this rescue. Everyone likes me and that's because I'm well behaved and friendly to all! I need exercise daily to keep me healthy and active, so a home with a yard and/or people who will take daily long walks would be best. I would do great with another dog or two. I'm spayed, chipped, hw negative, have all shots and preventatives up to date. I'm a great medium size, and would make an awesome family dog! Apparently I have beautiful markings and mom says I would make a great running partner! I'm learning my basic commands and will sit nicely for liver pate! Please contact my mom for an application!
Can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Boerne Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Boerne, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Boerne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boerne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boerne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boerne paves the way for another one to be saved.
