Meet this lovely gal named Cookie! (This beautiful girl is now at the Cat Condos at Petsmart in Morehead City.) She was at the shelter as a kitten and now back as of June 20, 2016. She came back to us as a stray so now she is really ready for a loving permanent FOREVER home. She is around 4 and a half years old, current on her vaccinations and already spayed. She enjoys soaking up as much TLC as one has to share and seems like she will make someone a wonderful cat if given a fair chance. She is a little stress at the shelter. Stop by the shelter and visit with Cookie today and give her her "Happily Ever After" that she truly deserves!
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
