*Tuffy is a 6 month old mixed breed puppy. His mom was a 12 pound Doxie, and dad is presumed to be a pug. Tuffy currently weighs 9 pounds and he still has a little growing left to do.
*Tuffy is a Special Needs puppy. He was born with multiple skeletal abnormalities of unknown origin. These abnormalities effect his hind legs and left front leg. Because of the way he was formed, Tuffy has a unique way of walking as you can see in the video. His left front leg is generally not used to walk, more used for balance, scratching his ear, or booping other dogs. Tuffy is not in any pain and his condition is not neurological.
*Tuffy is crate trained and he is learning house training. He will need a home that understands he may never be totally house trained. Winter may be hard for Tuffy due to his way of moving. He does use potty pads at times, so further training that way may work as well.
*Tuffy loves other dogs and playing with dogs of all sizes. He will do well with doggie friends who are gentle and not going to see him as prey. Tuffy is not going to do well in homes with very young children.
*Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. Tuffys x-rays will go home with him for his new vet.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
