Quinn's Story...
Welcome to ACL, puppies! Quinn, Mathis, and Brody are three Australian Cattle Dog supermix breed brothers who arrived at the shelter from an overburdened facility in Oklahoma. These boys are 9 weeks old and insanely cute and sweet! Quinn is a confident, rough and tumble puppy who is making great strides with crate training and potty training. He's friendly with everyone - kids of all ages, dogs of all sizes, and he's at a great age to introduce to cats, too. Quinn plays hard, and he plays A LOT, so a home that's up for adventures would suit him just fine. Since he's still a baby, he'll need a family that's home regularly in order to spend time on training and socializing. Quinn and his littermates are sure to be adopted soon - if you think your home is missing a puppy, hurry on in!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Oak Park Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
