Clyde's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Clyde's Story...
This is Clyde. He and his sister Bonnie were dumped, left all alone to fend for themselves. Some of our great volunteers took the time to earn their trust and catch them and get them to our control. They are very bonded to each other but we would consider possibly splitting them if they had another dog in the home. They do well with other dogs, cats and children. They are smart dogs and love to please! Clyde was a little shy and first but his personality has just blossomed!! They have both been spayed and neutered, up to date on shots, and are HW negative.

Their adoption fee is $50 for one, but adopted as a pair, we will give a discount and have the adoption fee as $75 for both!

Act quickly to adopt Clyde. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Mayflower Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Mayflower, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Mayflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mayflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mayflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mayflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
