**Skylar is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $350, which helps covers his flight to his new family, a travel kennel, and he is vetted.**

Skylar was pulled from the local kill shelter. He was an emaciated little guy with an upper respiratory infection and we weren’t sure if he was going to make it. But he did and he is a loving and healthy guy now!

He is about 2.5 months old and loves everyone he meets. He loves to play with other cats and dogs.

**Skylar is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV Positive & FeLV Negative, Dewormed and doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. His out of state adoption fee is $350 to help cover the cost of his airline flight and travel crate.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skylar, a Seattle Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
