Oreo's Story...
Oreo is a handsome fella and loves life out of the shelter. He was so scared in the shelter but as soon as he got out, was so excited that he couldn't stop wagging his tail. He had a bad tummy in the shelter but that is all fixed up and his personality is really coming out. He loves other dogs, loves walking on his leash, and loves cuddle time while watching TV. He learned very fast where to go potty and is very calm natured and loving. Oreo will be a great addition to just about any family. This boy is about 1 year old and 45 pounds. He is a Dalmatian mix.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Dallas Dalmatian/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Pointer for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Dalmatian/Pointer dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Pointer breeders who help with Dalmatian/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
