Betty's Story...
Hi! My name is Betty! I am the most adorable tiny little puppy girl! I was born 8/12/16 and weigh 5 lbs. I am good with dogs, cats and kids. My story is so sad :( My mom got lost in the woods and gave birth to my siblings and me all alone in the woods. A nice lady came to help us one day, and brought us to the rescue! We are all doing well and looking for homes. My mom looks like a blonde lab/beagle mix, but no one knows what our dad was! I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $400, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport if my new family lives in the northeast USA. I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family. Please email my rescue at daybeforetherainbow@gmail.com to get an adoption application! Thanks for checking me out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Newark Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newark, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
