Tatum's Story...
Tatum is a very sweet boy. This little guy is about 4 months old and has a very calm spirit about him. He loves other dogs and his best bud is a young boy in his foster home. Tatum does fine with bigger dogs and smaller dogs as well as cats. He is working hard on housebreaking and is doing very well. This guy watched his littermates be adopted and he's so ready for his very own family now! Tatum loves belly rubs and playing with his toys too! Tatum is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Tatum to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tatum, a Southington Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Southington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
