Mikey's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mikey's Story...
Mikey is a good mannered, vivacious, TWO MONTH old male lab/pit mix. Most days he can be found wearing his black velvet morning suit (including brindle paws!) and his favorite activities include playing with every dog and kid he sees, chewing on his chew toys, and zonking out for two hour naps. Mikey is ten pounds now but will likely grow to be about 35-40 pounds, and would love to have a lot of space to run around, and lots of friends to entertain him.
He has been neutered, and is up to date on current shots. Even has a microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Long Beach Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
