Facts about Billy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Billy is a sweet calm male brown tabby that loves his girlfriend Anna (also for adoption) and these two would make a perfect pair in a home together. Billy will flop over on his side in front of you and beg for petting. Billy was an outside cat that ended up at the shelter until Rescue Angels stepped in and rescued him. He is found snuggling with Anna most of the time and once you pet him, he purrs and just wants to be loved. Billy is young, about a year old, neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for Felv/FIV, on flea preventative, and microchipped. He is in a free roaming room with other cats, so being around new cats is not a problem. If you're interested in Billy or Billy and Anna together, please contact Rescue Angels.

About Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescue Angels' mission is to change the lives of animals in need by rescuing them from undesirable situations, providing loving homes, and any needed medical care (including mandatory spay and neuter). We also have in place a successful TNR (trap-neuter-return) program to limit the population and euthanasia of unwanted animals. We strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster-based Rescue organization, so all pets are in a loving, comfortable foster home. We also participate in regular monthly adoption events at PetSmart and Petco in Waldorf, MD. Please check our website at and our Facebook page for information.

Our Adoption Process...

Our pet adoption process is thorough and friendly, to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship. The adoption process begins when you complete and adoption application to further your interest in our dogs/cats. Once approved for adoption, we will help you coordinate a visit to the foster home at which the pet you're interested in lives. Your whole family should help decide which animal is best suited for your home and lifestyle. Please remember that this decision should be handled lightly and we expect you to care for your pet throughout it's lifetime. Our volunteers are always on hand to help you choose a pet that is right for you.
