9 wks of age, had his first vaccine done 10/9 This boy had a sad story, a foster mom was attending a livestock sale and a person brought him in; inside a cardboard box marked FREE. He laid on the bottom of the box scared out of his mind, not moving. The foster mom's child took him out of the box insisting he was going "home". For hours the pup did not move not even a little. Almost a week later he is completely different, he has done wonderful with crate training, stays right with you outside, is so well behaved even controlling his puppy energy. The child who "saved" him gave him his name; which maybe fictional but the bio of this fictional character this pup has some of the same characteristics. This is one sweetheart of a baby. First transport he could go to an adopter would arrive 10/29

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OPTIMUS/ADOPTED, a Waterbury Dutch Shepherd/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Boxer breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
