Are you looking to adopt a very sweet Yorkie/Maltese mix? He is about 2 years old. This little guy is very sweet and lovable, but he's a terrier and needs a terrier-savvy home. He is house trained, crate trained, loves to run in a fenced yard with the other foster dogs, and he walks well on leash. This little guy has had a tough start. He needs an experienced owner who understands how to handle a "sassy, typical terrier". He can be protective of his toys and not always willing to share them or his bones, especially when he's tired. However, he is easily redirected and stopped with verbal commands. He likes to run and play with "easy-going, non reactive" dogs. He's being fostered with 5 dogs right now and is doing great. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard and without children. Anyone who has had the Yorkie breed would understand the terrier personality. Please apply online as he is in a foster home.
