My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our gentle giant, Sheba, was found abandoned in a house where her owners left her when they moved. After not receiving rent for 2 months the rental agent went to the house to investigate and found Sheba. She appears to have had no food during that time and she only had rainwater that seeped into the house to drink. We do not know exactly how long she was there. She survived because of the frequency of the rainstorms during those weeks. Sheba is now a healthy and beautiful Cane Corso mix, about five years old and weighs 121 pounds. Sheba loves people but she would like to be the only pet in the household as she can get a bit jealous if she is competing for her human’s attention. She does enjoying playing with other submissive dogs so she would enjoy going on walks and meeting friends at a dog park. This particular breed excels at agility course training and their intelligence makes them highly trainable. Sheba was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico where she was spayed, dewormed and fully vaccinated. She has made her way into foster care in Nanaimo where she awaits her perfect family. So if you are a particularly active family or are looking for a dog to spend time interacting with a lot, then this girl is for you. Contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.
