Sebastian's Story...
Meet Sebastian!! He is a medium size dog of about 40 lbs. Sebastian gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He was pulled from death row at the local pound and now awaits his forever home in a cozy foster home! Sebastian would do best in a home with another dog to play with and/or an active family. Sebastian has been kept in a fenced in back yard, but loves coming inside and snuggling up on the couch. He really is a gentle soul. Sebastian is slightly shy at first, but quickly makes people his new BFFs in 2.5!! Sebastian is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, housebroken, and well crate trained!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Southbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Southbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Southbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
