Clara's Story...
Be still our beating hearts! How can you not melt at this little face? Clara is a 10 week old, 12 lb Hound/Lab-ish (although we're open to all suggestions!) mix who is being fostered on Long Island and looking for a NY/tri-state areaF OREVER HOME. Clara has a sweet and gentle personality and is very eager to lvoe her people. She's great with other dogs, and she's happy to snuggle with a bunch of kids. She needs a home where she won't be crated all day or left alone for hours because she's still a very young girl. She is spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $425.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, a GREENLAWN Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in GREENLAWN, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in GREENLAWN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in GREENLAWN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a GREENLAWN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in GREENLAWN paves the way for another one to be saved.
