Irwin's Story...
Irwin is a 8 1/2 month old Boxer mix that was originally adopted form the shelter and unfortunately had to be returned because his new owners did not have enough time to devote to a growing dog. In their care they stated that he never showed any signs of aggression towards people, children, dogs, or cats and he was housebroken and crate trained (**some training will be lost from an animal having to live in a shelter for a period of time so he would need to be worked again to reinforce his training). He is up-to-date on all of his vaccines and already neutered so he is ready to go home with you today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Irwin, a Greensboro Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
