Dollie's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dollie's Story...
Dollie is a 1 1/2 year old Boxer mix that was surrendered to the shelter because she is was jumping too much for their small child. In the previous owners care they stated that she was housebroken, crate trained, got along with kids and dogs but does not like cats (**some training will need to be reinforced after an animal has had a stay in the shelter**). She is up-to-date on all of her vaccines and will be spayed prior to going home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dollie, a Greensboro Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
