Calvin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Calvin's Story...
My name is Calvin, and I am a handsome blue Classic tabby DSH boy with beautiful yellow eyes who was born in March 2016. Classic tabby means that my tabby markings are in swirling circles like a bullseye. Aren't they cool? I must have been the runt of the litter because I am small for my age.
I am a true dichotomy: outgoing and playful yet a sweet 'cuddle bunny' who enjoys snoozing with my foster meowmy. I have perfect scratching post manners -- even if I do use it enthusiastically! I get along great with cats, dogs, and people, so I would fit into many families. Since I'm looking for a home to call my own, won't you be the one to add me to your family?
Calvin is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Calvin, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
