I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Yeta and Butch were part of a sled dog team, they have been retired for over a year now and are enjoying life without a chain and dog house. Instead they are enjoying a bed and the warmth of an inside area to sleep and the company of other dogs. They have adjusted quickly and are now house trained and happy to get the extra attention from the volunteers.

About Our Shelter...
We are an all volunteer, no kill, animal shelter that takes in almost all types of animals. We have been a non profit 501 C (3) organization since early 2004 and are registered with the State of Alaska. We fund and sponsor a low cost spay and neuter program called S.N.I.P. (Spay and Neuter Interiors Pets). We offer free boarding of pets to persons in the Rescue Mission, Center for Non Viloent Living and the homeless during extreme weather conditions. We also do special support services for families referred by social service agencies and low income families for their pets.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m., and at other special times by appointment. We attend special pet events in the area and promote other pet organizations in the community.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an adoption fee on most pets, an adoption contract and we require all pets go out for a home trial period of up to 2 weeks to make sure the pet is the right one for the family.
