Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born 6/13/2013, Patty is 6#, purebred shih tzu who was surrendered by a breeder this week. Patty has had 2 litters, and was spayed after the second litter was delivered by C-section. Patty has had little experience with surroundings outside the breeder’s house. She is semi-housetrained, since the breeder did not let the dogs outside in winter. Patty is fantastic with other little dogs and cats, very sweet and very shy. In new surroundings, she is curious about toys, but clearly has never played with toys. Patty likes to lie on the couch with people, but she really does not enjoy being held. Maybe she has no experience with being held. Patty loves sitting in the window watching the leaves fall, the squirrels gathering and hiding nuts, the birds fighting the squirrels and the clouds racing across the sky. Patty wags her tail when you talk to her and show her attention now. She walks away, looking back to see if you are following her, wagging her tail slowly, curiously. When she is overwhelmed by all the new experiences, she goes to her bed in a kennel with the door open, so she can come and go and feel secure in her retreat. Patty is very curious, very little and very sweet. Patty currently resides at our Idaho rescue. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
