Caoba's Story...
This handsome hunk of happiness is chiweenie Caoba, 10 years, 14 pounds of fun and lots of love! His foster mom calls him "Kai". Kennels make Caoba sad, and he howls while there. He so loves being with people, but he's fine on a doggie bed or chair in the same room. He gets along with the dogs in his foster home but does not want to share food. What doxie does! Caoba lets you know he's feeling really good by rolling on his back, wiggling up/down and side to side at the same time! Please reach out and/or submit an application to love and be loved by this deserving boy at http://www.almosthomerescue.org/onlineforms/adoptform.htm. Caoba's adoption fee is $125 to help rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caoba, a Andalusia Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Andalusia, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Andalusia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Andalusia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Andalusia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Andalusia paves the way for another one to be saved.
