My story

Megan is a loving, adorable 10 year old Yorkie girl. She is a little too chubby 12 pounds. Megan is being fostered in Seminole, FL.




Megan's adoption fee is $175 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Megan by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.





My name is Megan, and I am Bridgette’s, sister. My beloved owner didn’t have time for me because he has a new job that took him out of town and he was away a lot. He thought the best thing to do was to contact United Yorkie Rescue because his dog sitter told him United Yorkie Rescue will find me a forever home that really means forever. My owner took really good care of me. I have everything – shots, a chip, a crate - everything but a forever home.




I am shy, though I am starting to warm up to my foster mom and dad. I like to eat and my foster mom and dad said I can’t eat with my sister anymore because I eat my food real quick and then eat hers too. They said I am a porky yorkie, but maybe by feeding me separately and taking me for walks I will slim down. I am house trained, and I do go on a potty pad when no one is home and I have to go out. I am 10 years old, but don’t worry about that. I have a lot of years left to love you. I don’t play much like my sister and I don’t like other dogs, I just like to be held and petted. I’ll tell you more after I settle in.
