Bailey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a sweet, smart, affectionate 2 yr old Lab/hound mix who wound up on death row in the shelter when she was pregnant. Florida Urgent Rescue (FUR) saved her, and her puppies are now with their forever families and Bailey is looking forward to having a furever family of her own. She's great with other dogs and kids. She will chase running cats, so we think she'd be better in a home with no cats. She is a sweet, happy, easy going dog who would be a great addition to any family looking for their new best friend.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Fees for puppies under 6 months old: $225
Adoption Fees for dogs/puppies 6 months old or older: $150
This includes vetting, UTD Vaccinations and spay or neuter

We ask that you fill out an adoption application before you meet our animals. You can download it here: http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Jacksonville Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
