Bailey is a sweet, smart, affectionate 2 yr old Lab/hound mix who wound up on death row in the shelter when she was pregnant. Florida Urgent Rescue (FUR) saved her, and her puppies are now with their forever families and Bailey is looking forward to having a furever family of her own. She's great with other dogs and kids. She will chase running cats, so we think she'd be better in a home with no cats. She is a sweet, happy, easy going dog who would be a great addition to any family looking for their new best friend.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Fees for puppies under 6 months old: $225
Adoption Fees for dogs/puppies 6 months old or older: $150
This includes vetting, UTD Vaccinations and spay or neuter

We ask that you fill out an adoption application before you meet our animals. You can download it here: http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt

About Florida Urgent Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to dramatically improve the lives of shelter and rescue animals, to assist in urgent rescue situations and to implement resources to help in the aid of these animals. We rescue from death row at high kill shelters and help them have happy lives in their furever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!

Our Adoption Process...

We require a written application, references and a home check prior to adoption. If you're interested in a foster-to-adopt, we are very flexible.
