Facts about Juno

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Juno is an adorable calico kitten, born in May of this year. As a typical calico, she sometimes doesn’t seem like she wants to be held, until you pick her up and put her in your lap. She has a constant loud purr. Her foster mom calls her Junebug. She is super cute, looks like she will be a petite adult, as she is very dainty. She had 2 other foster boys with her, and I think she was intimidated by them although they got along okay. They went to the adoption center at the Petco sore, now she has relaxed and turned into an absolute playful little clown. She loves having her tummy rubbed and being scratched under her chin and she LOVES toys. She may just want to be an only cat. She was taken in as a stray by animal control when she was about 8 weeks old, so we don’t know her history. For more info, or if you would like to meet Juno call us at 630-897-8738.

Juno's adoption fee is $125.00 which includes FeLV/FIV test, 3 kitten vaccines, rabies shot, spay, microchip, dewormiing and fecal test, all of which have been done.

About Paws and Purrs Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws and Purrs Humane Society is a no-kill, not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding good homes for homeless cats and kittens. We are a small, all volunteer group providing veterinary care, socialization, and lots of TLC to our animals until they are matched with their forever guardians. Paws and Purrs charges must be sterilized to avoid increasing the overpopulation of unwanted animals. All of our cats and kittens live in foster homes and are not caged in a shelter. Those we've helped include days old kittens, strays found outside near death, and, of course, all ages of animals who were abandoned or surrendered by their owners.

Paws and Purrs sends each cat and kitten home with a information booklet covering topics of general interest to adopters. Further, we have an excellent after care program designed to insure that animals adopted from us are living happily ever after in their forever homes. We're a continuing resource for our adopters and are always available to consult on any issues the adopters would like to discuss.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our cats and kittens live in foster homes. We will adopt out of the foster homes whenever we can coordinate all parties involved. We also hold adoption events the second Saturday of the month at the North Aurora Petco, 1660 Orchard Gateway Blvd (behind the North Aurora Auto Mall), North Aurora 60542 and the last Sunday of the month at the Oswego Petco. 3066 Route 34, Oswego 60543.

Our Adoption Process...

Paws and Purrs is committed to finding permanent loving homes for our cats and kittens. We do our utmost to match adopters with the cat(s) or kitten(s) that will be purrfect new members of their family. Because all of our felines live in foster care and are not caged in shelters, we know their personalities and the home environment in which they are most likely to thrive.

Your adoption donation helps pay for food, spaying or neutering, necessary vaccinations, medical test and treatments, and microchipping. It is your responsibility, after the adoption, to give a loving home to the animal for the rest of it’s life.

Current identification will be required and must show your correct address and telephone number.

You must show proof that you are able to keep a pet on the premises, if you are currently renting or reside in a condo.

Your family must be willing to allow an authorized representative of Paws and Purrs to make an adoption follow-up, either in person or by telephone.

If the animal is not already altered, spaying or neutering of pets adopted through Paws and Purrs is required.

A legally binding and enforced contract must be signed when adopting a pet from Paws and Purrs.

If, at any time, you are unable to keep the pet or unable to provide it with proper care, it must be offered back to Paws and Purrs before making other arrangements.

We adopt only to homes where the cats will not be declawed and will be kept exclusively indoors. All animals are tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, inoculated and sterilized, age permitting.
