NewNew's Story...
Name: NewNew
Breed: Shih Tzu
Age: Senior
Gender: Female

NewNew is an 8 year old chocolate Shih Tzu, so gentle and patient and loving. She spent her life being loved and cared for until her owner couldn't do it any longer. This sweet dog loves sitting on laps, walks, and sharing the bed with you-- she tells you it's bedtime by staring so thoughtfully into your face. She's house trained, crate trained but not used to the crate any longer, and requires a home with another dog, her buddy Macy the Cocker. They have been together for 8 years and are very bonded. If you are considering a mellower, well behaved, super loving pair to add to your home, please consider them.

Requirements: Bonded Pair with Macy

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NewNew, a Minneapolis Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
