Egypt's Story...
Egypt is a beautiful girl who has been through some trauma after the death of her human daddy. She's been in a foster home for over a year recovering and learning how to be a well-adjusted kitty in a new household. This little girl was having a lot of trouble adjusting, then finally her foster mom realized she doesn't like other cats - a shocker considering she lived with 23 other cats and her daddy! Now that she is allowed her own space, she has bloomed into a loving, affectionate kitty. Egypt would ideally be the only cat in the household - but I strongly suspect that she'd get along with one other quiet kitty, as she allows one of my quiet boys to share her space and I've actually seen her rub her cheek on his ears. I suspect the other kitty will need to be a boy, though, as she has made no progress getting along with any of the girls in the house. Egypt will need a patient parent who has experience with fearful kitties. Egypt will do best if she has a "safe space" she can go to until she learns that the entire household is safe - like an unused covered litter box. She loves canned food and treats and they can be used to draw her personality out and gain her trust. Egypt is estimated to be 4 years old and is fully vetted.
