Facts about Moe

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10369KM
  • Hair: Short
Moe is a short-haired kitty who is grey, with dark grey stripes. He was found along with 5 other siblings in a barn attic where they had no access to food or water. When he came to me he was very scared of humans and very tiny. I believe he was the runt of the litter.

Moe is now a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and watch TV on the couch! He may not do well with little kids as he is still a little skittish and doesn't really like to be picked up. He loves to play but does play rough. He doesn't try to hurt but sometimes does. He is about 5 Months old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and ready to go to his forever home.

About Stray Cat Blues

About Our Rescue Group...

Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.

Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at

Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.

For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application with vet references or a home visit. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our adoption fee is only $95. (Fee can be paid by cash or check at our Petsmart North Wales/Montgomeryville location. At our Collegeville location, the fee can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.)

If you are interested in adopting a cat, you can find our online adoption application at our website - On the side of the page there is a section labeled Quick Adoption Links. Click on the link for application to adopt a House Cat. Click on this link, fill out this short form, and be sure to click Submit at the bottom. One of our Adoption Reps will then contact you within a couple of days to guide you through the adoption process.

Alternately you can complete a paper application at Petsmart when we have SCB volunteers present (see times for adoption showings). Questions - email us at: We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
