Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little cutie who recently came in from an upstate animal shelter. Kachina and her brother were the only survivors of their litter after they came down with parvo. Thankfully, little Kachina beat it and her brother never caught the virus. We have very limited information about them but here is what we do know. Kachina is about 8-12 weeks old and little for her age at just under 7 pounds right now. We can't be completely positive what breed she is because she is so small for a Doberman but the vet thought her growth may have been stunted because of the virus and poor nutrition. She is not the right body style for a miniature pinscher but she could be a german pinscher or a small doberman. Without a clear history we cannot know for sure how large she will be when fully grown but she might catch up in size a bit with good nutrition and care. She is a healthy eater, active, social and confident. Even though she is young, she is showing signs of a dog that is smart and driven so we want to see her in a home that will start training asap and keep socializing her. She has been parvo free for a few weeks so she is hanging out in a foster home while we search for a great forever home for her.
