Arrow's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Arrow's Story...
Meet Arrow! He's a 28 lb, 1 year old Beagle mix. He bays like a Beagle and loves to use his nose. He LOVES other dogs and definitely wants a playful doggy friend or two in his new home. He thinks cats are fun to chase and they don't appreciate it, so a home without cats is best! Arrow has never met a stranger and loves every new person he encounters, all ages. He knows the basics like sit, down, and paw, and he loves to learn. He's still very much a puppy. Arrow has a knob on his head where fur doesn't grow and the vet thinks it was either a burn or blunt force trauma. Whatever happened in his past, he doesn't keep it with him and loves everybody he meets. He LOVES to sniff and explore and would love a home with a fenced in yard. His nose has taken him out of the yard on occasion, so it must be secure! He has a moderate energy level, so if someone is committed to getting him out for lots of walks and playtime in open spaces he could live in a home without a yard. His bay can be loud when he's playful, but he's quiet and relaxed when he's crated. Leashes are a must - he follows his nose and doesn't always stay close!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arrow, a West Palm Beach Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
