Mango's Story...
Hello My name is Mango! I was brought to the shelter as a stray with a cat named Kiwi. I am a very sweet boy who loves nothing more than a good pet. When I first got here I was very stressed and stopped eating so I was put on a feeding tube. I am in a kennel now so that the staff can make sure that I am eating. I love attention but be prepared when you stop petting me I will give you a love bite to let you know I need more attention. If I sound like your guy come and take me home today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Denver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
