Callie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Callie's Story...
Callie is a 1-2 yr old younger, healthy cat who has been waiting over 6 months for a forever family to love. Her original owner passed shortly after they got her which is how she came to us. She adores people and loves up on everyone she meets. She is ok with children, other cats and dogs, and is litter box trained. She has been spayed, updated on shots and tested negative for both FelV. and Fiv.
Thanks to a generous sponsor, Callie has a discounted adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Greensburg American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Greensburg, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Greensburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
