Creel's Story...
Hello there, my name is Creel. I’m 12-18 months old and weigh 42 pounds. My family turned me into a shelter and the shelter quickly contacted AGB because of my special needs. They noticed I don’t walk very well so AGB’s doctors did some X-rays. They found I had previous fractures in my legs and I need surgery to repair my legs and help me live a healthy, pain free life. I am a sweet and loving fella and I’m so grateful that AGB is willing to help me get well and find a family to love me. If you have a heart for a sweet fella who needs a little tender loving care, I hope you will take the time to meet me, Creel. PS… AGB has set up a fund to help with my medical expenses. Any amount you can give will really be appreciated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Creel, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
