When the rescue was called to help with a breeder and an eviction, we went to help out. We took Kasper, the father of our puppies. Kasper is about 6 years old, and weighs about 8-10 pounds, and is full bred Mini Schnauzer. He is a calm darling boy. He has one of those gentle souls. He loves to be around his people, and loves a lap to sit on. He is good with other dogs, and cats too!! He is crate trained., and we are working on potty training and that is going very well. He was severely matted when we got him, so we took him to our groomer, and unfortunately, he had to be shaved. When we shaved him we realized he had several hot spots, so he is wearing a cone until they are healed completely. Schnauzers do require periodic grooming. He is also missing some teeth, but eats regularl food, so no special needs. If you are interested, and would like to meet Kasper, and give him the home he so deserves, let us know!!
As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip (with lifetime registration), and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spayed or neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will be responsible to transport the dog, to and from dropoff/pickup point. Each dog will receive 6 mths of heartworm preventative medication. You are entitled to a free physical exam for your dog. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and a gift card from Choice Pet Market. Each of our dogs comes with 4 training classes that are mandatory to attend. These classes take place at Choice Pet Market in Chandler on a Tues or Wed evening from 6-7 pm, and will be scheduled after adoption.
